My Background
My Background
Transitioning from a professional NFL career with the Raiders at 430lbs, I began a life change with a 200lb weight loss, earned a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have over 20+ years of experience providing mental health services to diverse populations suffering with DSM-IV clinical disorders. My roots stem from mental and behavioral health crisis interventions within adolescent rehabilitation and adult detention facilities. Currently I am operating a mentorship program derived from my experience in sports and behavioral psychology to educate and motivate those I work with by finding ways to effectively impact life rather than to be hindered. Without effective mentoring, it can be easier to be overcome by destructive behaviors such as substance abuse or emotional outbursts. Dedicated to having everyone I work with develop deeper understanding of themselves, and create more meaningful relationships, I lead by example, being a father of three and a devoted mentor to many in an ongoing manor.
